Orbital Devices

The Devices page lists devices in your organization that have an Orbital node installed and information about them.

 

Hosts seen shows the number of devices that were observed in your organization in the last 24 hours by default. You can use the drop-down menu to change the time range to the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.

 

Node version status displays the status of e Orbital nodes and their versions that are installed on devices in your organization. Refer to the Orbital Node Version Releases section of the What Are Orbital Nodes? topic for more information.

 

Device List

The table lists your devices sorted the date they were added to Orbital. You can search the device list by:

  • Hostname

  • IPv4 or IPv6 address

  • MAC address

  • Operating system name

  • Node ID

  • Secure Endpoint connector GUID

  • Secure Client UID

You can also use the Operating System drop-down menu to filter the table by Windows, Mac, or Linux devices.

 

Click the Download button to download the device information in either CSV or JSON format.

 

Use the cog icon to customize the columns displayed and the table appearance. The table displays:

  • Hostname - the hostname of the device. Click the hostname to view the Device Details.

  • Added to Orbital - the date and time the device was added to your Orbital organization. Click the date to copy it or access your time preferences.

  • Last Seen - the date and time the device last check in. Click the date to copy it or access your time preferences.

  • Active IP - the device IP address and access port that the Orbital node uses.

  • OS - the name and version of the device operating system.

  • MAC - the MAC address of the device.

  • Secure Endpoint connector GUID - the connector GUID of the device. Click the GUID to open the Secure Endpoint console.

  • Secure Client UID - the Secure Client UID of the device.

  • Node Version - the version of the Orbital client installed on the device.

  • Interfaces - the number of network interfaces on the device.
